The benefits of yoga

Flexibility and Strength

Yoga strengthens the body while keeping joints moving well. Muscles lengthen, stability improves and mobility is maintained as you age, helping everyday movement feel easier and more comfortable.

Stress Reduction

Slow movement, steady breathing and mindful awareness help calm the nervous system. Stress eases, sleep improves and a sense of ease becomes more accessible.

Mental Clarity

By returning attention to the present moment, yoga strengthens focus. The mind feels clearer, quieter and better able to concentrate.

Emotional Balance

Mindful awareness creates space between what you feel and how you respond. This space supports steadiness, compassion and healthier emotional regulation.

I'm not flexible - can I still do Yoga?

Absolutely, yes. This is one of the most common concerns and it’s completely understandable. Yoga isn’t about being flexible—it’s about meeting your body with awareness and care, exactly as it is today. Flexibility is something that naturally develops through practice, not something you need before you begin.

In my classes, there’s no pressure to perform or compare. We work with the body you have right now, offering gentle options and support so you can move, breathe and develop at your own pace. Everyone is welcome, just as they are.

Dru Yoga

Dru is a gentle, accessible form of yoga that focuses on flowing sequences, dynamic spinal movement, breathwork, visualisation and deep relaxation. Central to Dru Yoga are the Energy Block Release (EBR) sequences, which help release physical tension, shift emotional blockages and restore balance throughout the body. Many people experience improved strength and flexibility, a calmer emotional state and a renewed sense of clarity and ease.

I offer a weekly women’s Dru Yoga class;

  • Monday evenings 7:15pm – 8:30pm.
  • £10 per class – discounted price for block of classes
  • North Bradley Peace Memorial Hall, North Bradley, Wiltshire, BA14 0SH

  • Face massage boosts circulation and lymphatic flow, supporting collagen and elastin production.
  • Face acupressure works on specific points to release tension, improve energy flow and enhance your natural glow.
